Hello, all...
My lovely wife and I just purchased a home built in the 1880s or 90s. This is a gas fixture converted to electric that I was told was quite valuable.
Can anyone identify and / or guess the value of this piece? And if not, could you point me in the right direction?

Our realtor said this has carnival glass (?) I have no idea what that means.
